I won’t call this a game, but it’s an activity that you could do with your newborn from 0 - 3 months.
The baby chatter is an activity that you can do with your newborn where it will help encourage later talking and communicating, listening, seeing, becoming friendly, forming relationships, reading our moods , handling emotions and imitation.
You probably need only spent 15 minutes a day with your newborn on this activity.
Name Game
Cradle your baby in your arms with your fact 20 -25 cm from hers. Say her name over and over until you attract her attention. Then say “What a good girl” several tiems with warmth and pleasure in your voice.
Eye to Eye
Cradle your baby with your face 20 -25 cm from hers. Look into her eyes and hold her attention by talking, smiling and bobbing your head gently. She’ll start “mouthing” and pushing out her tongue to try imitates your facial movements and trying to answer you. As soon as you see this response, encourage her enthusiastically and pause for a second to give her the two way rhythm of conversation.
Making faces
Cradle your baby and start acting emotions with appropriate facial expressions and explanations. Keep up a running commentary emotions your face is expressing.
